Hourly College Consulting for Parent(s) and/or Students
For families who need limited assistance. Good uses of hourly consulting include early prep (9th and 10th grade; see below), guidance on college list, and limited help with applications. Contact Tara at collegefitconsulting@gmail.com to schedule.

Many students and families have an accumulation of questions but don't need comprehensive college consulting. Tara can answer your questions and/or point you in the right direction. Schedule your AMA meeting here. If you think you will need more than one hour, contact Tara at collegefitconsulting@gmail.com

There's so much to know about navigating the college process with learning differences/neurodiversity, but rest assured, I can lead the way, advising students with learning differences on how to: set themselves up in high school to have great success in college, choose a best-fit college, present themselves to colleges, and navigate accommodations and disability services in college. Early Prep for
9th and 10th Graders (Hourly)
Tara can help students decide which classes to take in high school in order to present their best selves to colleges. Tara takes into account stress level, extracurricular activities, and other commitments, such as a job. (Taking every AP class possible may or may not be a good idea; each student is different.) Tara can also counsel students on how to look at their extracurricular activities through the eyes of a college admissions officer. She is also able to guide students on taking the SAT or ACT.
